Join us on a Super Jeep up to the Mýrdalsjökull glacier, where you'll enter one of a kind natural Ice Cave. The view inside is truly spectacular the combination of the colors of the ice, The Katla Ice Cave is truly unique. The ice cave is located in Kötlujökull Glacier which is an outlet glacier of Mýrdalsjökull Glacier. Underneath the glacier waits the mighty volcano Katla.
The drive will take you through rivers, across glittering crater walls, lava fields and colourful mountains where you will be able to witness geothermal activity and a stunning nature. The day tour will take you to some of the areas which were the most affected by the 2010 eruption of the now dormant Eyjafjallajökull volcano. The elegant Seljalandsfoss waterfall is unique in its kind, in that you can actually walk behind the plummeting falling stream without getting (too) wet, for a unique viewing angle. After a stop there we head on to the legendary Thórsmörk valley, nestled in between three glaciers, with a stop at the Gígjökull glacier further up in the valley. From there you can hike up to the edge of the magnificent glacier Eyjafjallajökull that descends from the summit of a volcano in a jumble of crevasses.
